Gospel Artist Donald Lawrence Presents A Tribute To Andrae' Crouch & Walter Hawkins!

Donald Lawrence and Company presents an upcoming tribute to two great late legends in the world of gospel music.   On May 30th 2015, Chicago Gospel Music Festival will have various gospel artists to perform and honor Bishop Walter Hawkins and Pastor Andrae Crouch.

We notice some very well known names of  gospel artists; however, we do not notice Andrae's twin Sandra, The Hawkins family or the Love Center Choir on the above advertisement.  If they are not going to perform, we wouldn't even want to attend this event.  However, maybe the families of these two great men will be a surprise guests.

First Lady Michelle Obama Talks About Her Love for Gospel Music

The first lady of this country, Michelle Obama expresses her love for gospel music.  We suppose this is why we there are so many on her guests list to perform at the White House.  Although, we may not agree with her husband's support for same sex marriage, we know they believe in God, in order to face this racist country as black people. No doubt, First Lady Obama gets her strength by listening to gospel music in her leisure time.

Gospel music, Obama said in her remarks, is “what helps connect us to God, to that higher power,” according to The Associated Press. “For so many, when times have darkened, when there’s struggle, gospel music is that ray of hope and it gives you that strength.”

In the meantime, First Lady Obama is in our prayers.
