Pastor Rader Johnson Teaches Apostolic Followers About Not Compromising with The World

Dr. Rader Johnson teaches against people compromising within the body of Christ.   He speaks against men and women wearing earrings, men wearing dreads, mixing church music with worldly music.  Dr. Johnson speaks about making up in our minds to be holy and enforce our flesh to suffer.

We must be different, no matter how many people expect us to be like them.  Dr. Johnson touches on the subject of why so many people expect you to be similar to them, for instance, wearing sagging pants, listening to rap music in the church and appearing like worldly people.  He says it's a spirit behind it, which is so true.  Dr. Johnson explains the way to crucify the flesh, then it will not be so difficult to feel the presence of God all the time and this includes not compromising with the world.  One of the main ways to crucify the flesh is fasting and he explains, Satan always tempts us whenever we make a decision to fast.  Why?  Because fasting help us to be in full submission to Jesus Christ.

Dr. Rader Johnson explains why it is so very important to separate light with darkness.  There is a lot of mixing going on the church and this is one of the main reasons why there has been so many issues.

Specifically, Dr. Rader Johnson explains how Lucifer was the most beautiful angel and had a lot of gifts and one of the gifts was being the angel of music.  This is one of the main reasons why so many people who are suppose to be followers of Christ have compromised and bridged the gap.

The only thing we disagree with, is that Dr Rader Johnson allegedly stated that a lot of churches who are not apostolic have comprised, but we have also seen a lot of apostolic churches who believe in being baptized in Jesus name who have compromised and allowed church music to be bridged with rap and hip hop.  In all due respect, Bishop T. D. Jakes who has taught oneness has allowed all sorts of hip hop gospel artists and christian rap artists to perform in his church and at his various conferences, allegedly.  Then there is Bishop Noel Jones, he's allegedly bridged the gap and his roots is the Apostolic church.  Furthermore, there are so many other apostolic churches who have compromised and not preached against hip hop gospel artists.  One of the most popular gospel artists who was raised in the apostolic church is Tye Tribbett.  Therefore, we must be honest, all who have been brought up within the apostolic church have not been distinct from the world and many have compromised in their lives.   We could name so many more, but that's just enough to remind you that the apostolic church has not been perfect.  Dr. Johnson has also mentioned on this following video that one of his friends in the ministry allowed rap music in his church, but there will never be any rap in his church, even after he's gone.   God bless and thanks for reading SCR.

God Is Using Gospel Artist Kirk Franklin, He Allegedly Says the Prosperity Gospel is Wrong

God has been really using Kirk Franklin.  Recently, we after the late legendary gospel artist, Pastor Andrae Crouch passed away, he allegedly stated that our songs need to go back to the cross, in his own words.  Now, Franklin has allegedly stated that the prosperity gospel is wrong and he even proved it, in concern for those who do not have enough funds to even travel to some churches.

According to buzz.eewmagazine.com, “If your theology can’t be preached in a third world country, where a Bentley and a Lear jet probably won’t come to the guy who walked four miles to church for prayer, then your theology is wrong,” he wrote.

God is going to bless Kirk Franklin for his honesty, because the average gospel artist of this era would be afraid to tell the truth, for fear of not being invited as a guest to perform at popular mega churches around the country.

Mary Mary's Discussion with Former Music Manager Gets Heated on Reality Show

We may not have always agreed with Mary Mary's type of gospel music, but one thing is for sure these two sisters seem to stick together through all their struggles.  This time on their reality show, their former music manager shows up at the door and they both have a heated discussion with him about how they alleged fired him.   Allegedly, Mitch was partly responsible for their success and it seems as though he felt he was being treated unfairly by Mary Mary, according to the following clip.

Whatever the case, we want to say, Mary Mary, Tina and Erica are very strong sisters and we know it's because of Christ.

Choir Directors, Gospel Artists, and the entire Black Church Watch One of Bishop Iona Locke's Best Sermons

Whether you believe in women bishops or not, this woman of God is preaching the truth.  She touches on issues that most preachers are afraid to preach about.   In Bishop Iona Locke's sermon, 'Praise Ye the Lord', Bishop Locke reveals what is going on not only in the gospel music industry, but within many black churches and of course, mega ministries.

Most church music is very much like the world these days, simply because many preachers are giving permission, for it to occur.   Beloved brothers and sisters, this must stop.  It is time to please the Lord and not those who are just focused on being popular and making money.  You know, worship is suppose to be totally focused on God.  Just listen to how God spoke to Bishop Iona Locke about the worldly dancing and secular music in the church.  God told her, 'we don't mix clean with unclean and holy with unholy.'

If those who are ambassadors, evangelists, pastors, (arch) bishops refuse to correct choir directors, gospel artists and even their managers, then many of our youth will continue to be ignorant of what gospel music really is.  Yes, this means also correcting Mr. Bobby Jones.  Gospel music is not 'classic' or 'old school' as some would want to put an old label on it, but gospel music is authentic, holy and pure.  Therefore, this is the way it should return within the body of Christ and remain that way.  This even goes for worship music in the church.  Furthermore, when you dance like David it ought not to be similar to Beyonce,  Michael Jackson or Justin Timberlake, but totally under the anointing and in the Spirit.  Lyrics and the music should not be similar to Jay-z, Lady Gaga or P. Diddy, but only holy and under the full anointing of the Holy Ghost.  Notice in the very beginning how God spoke to Bishop Locke and told her that many of these people who crept in the church to cause unholiness are ordained from the pits of hell.  Too many people are yet dying of AIDS in the church.  ISIS is on the up-rise saints, take heed.  Let's be holy in everything we do.  So, listen, learn, take heed and be blessed.

Let Us Not Forget to Pray For Gospel Artist, Pastor Sandra Crouch

After we all have grieved for a great loss within the gospel music industry, let us not go on with our lives without keeping Pastor Sandra Crouch up in prayer.   You know, she will forever be Pastor Andrae Crouch's twin and no doubt, she is feeling a lot of pain, although he's in a much better place.

Do you know how difficult it is to be very close to a sibling and sometimes, it seems as some people in the black church will not care for one like the do the other one? They will even try to divide that tight bond between close siblings.   No one will ever be able to separate Pastor Sandra Crouch from her twin and no one knew Pastor Andrae Crouch like Sandra.  Of course, most of all God knew him best.   However, let's pray for God to strengthen her to go on with their church as she continues on to pastor without her beloved twin, gospel legend, Pastor Andrae Crouch.

We love you Pastor Sandra Crouch and we are keeping you in our prayers.  God bless all of you and thanks for reading RGA.

Gospel Artist, Kirk Franklin Weighs In On Slaying of 21 Egyptian Christians

Gospel music artist, Kirk Franklin touched on the subject of those Christian being killed by ISIS. In his own words, Franklin reminds us to pray and be grateful. However, we could go much deeper than that, let us not give into excepting the Islamic religion as though it is Christianity, this is where many Christians are losing it.   Let us remember, that if many people of the Islamic faith served our God, then we wouldn't be witnessing what ISIS is doing to Christians, beheading them for serving Jesus Christ.

According to eewmagazine.com, Kirk Franklin tweeted:
“Christians being executed in Egypt puts what we go through daily in a different light,” he wrote on Twitter. He then added hastags, "#pray" and "#livegrateful."

Praise God for Kirk Franklin touching on the subject of ISIS.

Kirk Franklin says Christian Music (his Included) has Taken a ‘Step Away from the Cross'; Artists Need to Get Back to Andrae Crouch-style Songs that Win Souls

We never thought we'd say this, but we just may become a fan of Kirk Franklin.  Why?  He's simply speaking the truth about this age of gospel music, it's gotten too far from the cross, in his own words.  We suppose after the late legendary gospel artist, Pastor Andrae Crouch's home-going, God has been speaking to Franklin.  According to BlackChristianNews.com, Franklin allegedly stated,
"Our music doesn’t affect people the way it used to. It doesn’t create movements like it did during Andrae’s time. Is it because today’s worship leader is too busy trying to get the record deal, the applause, a higher church salary, and that crossover song? [The guilt is all over my hands, people!]

"Every step we take away from the cross — and the cross alone – every time we focus on sales over souls… the goal gets lower and lower."
God is using Kirk Franklin and we thank God for him.
