BET Is Working to Bring ‘Celebration of Gospel’ Back to TV

Although, BET could be bringing 'Celebration of Gospel' back to TV, we don't know if God agrees with it.  Why? Simply because if it's about fame and fortune, then the show will not glorify him.  Just ask yourselves, when unsaved people watch the show, how many of them will submit themselves to God?   According to our source, the show originally cancelled because it wasn't profitable, but the gospel of Jesus Christ is not about profits.

According to BlackChristianNews.com, an executive with the channel anonymously revealed that BET’s previous decision to cancel “COG” had nothing to do with ratings. It was strictly based on the show “not being profitable.”

We sincerely pray BET's plan does not go through and if it does, God will have the last say if 'Celebration of Gospel' should return for good.

Gospel Artists, Donnie McClurkin and Fred Hammond on tour this Fall

Two of the most popular gospel artists will be on tour this fall, Pastor Donnie McClurkin and Fred Hammond.  Their concert is called Festival Praise and we know there are many of you who will be on the lookout to attend.   Just remember when you go, glorify God and not the gospel artists and remain in the Spirit.

Many people are enthused over popular gospel artists and the beat to their songs, but they fail to worship Jesus Christ and this is the downfall of the gospel music industry today.  Too many gospel artists are in the flesh, so their fans who are so similar to those in the world do not focus on God whenever they pay to see their idols in concert. Therefore, they expect their fans to idolize them, because of their celebrity status, rather than remembering they are doing a work for the Lord.   We are not saying that either Fred Hammond or Pastor Donnie McClurkin is guilty of this, but there are many others who are very guilty of being idols while performing their gospel songs on stage, especially in this era of Christian Rock, Christian Rap and Hip Hop Gospel.  What is idolatry?  It is a sin and whatever or whoever you place above God is your idol.  There are all sorts of scriptures in the Bible that touch on the subject of idolatry, but here is one specific one you ought to remember. Ephesians 5:5 says this: 'For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person--such a man is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.'

Tina of Mary Mary tells Teddy “I’m not married to Jesus Christ. I’m married to you”

In our opinion, we think Tina on WE tv’s Mary Mary has taken her love for her husband too far.   As a Christian who is married, we must be very careful what we say about Jesus Christ.  She allegedly told him, she's not married to Jesus Christ.  Destruction is coming her way, if she does not repent.

In our walk with Christ, it does not matter who we meet and fall in love with, we once we made a commitment to Christ, He became our soulmate, first.   If something should happen if our spouses leave us, Jesus Christ does not leave or forsake us, He stays right with us.  When our past lovers promised to always be in our lives and walk out, Jesus remains right there with us.  If we should have kids and they rebel against us, Jesus goes no where, He remains right in our lives.   Jesus Christ was married to us, before we ever saw that person who made a commitment to be yoked in matrimony with us or even in relationships, in general.  Therefore, Jesus Christ is waiting on Tina of Mary Mary to repent, immediately, before destruction falls on her life.

'The same thing goes for you beloved readers, never love anybody so much to say, you are not married to Jesus Christ.  You don't put your husbands, wives, boyfriends and girlfriends ahead of Jesus Christ, for He was with us before we met that individual and He will never leave us, if and when they hurt and leave us alone.'  We are married to Jesus Christ first and we are to never break that vow, not even for our spouses.

Tina tells Teddy “I’m not married to Jesus Christ. I’m married to you”

Sometimes, Christians can make the mistake of over-spiritualizing practical matters, which can lead to destruction in our lives and hinder productivity.

When it comes to managing finances, relationships, health, business and...Read full article, here.
