Gospel Artist, Kirk Franklin Criticizes the Prosperity Gospel

We are very shocked Kirk Franklin would have anything negative to say about the prosperity gospel.  Actually, we thought hip hop gospel artists and the prosperity gospel went hand and hand, you know rich preachers paying them to perform while banking millions.  We suppose Franklin could be one who does not agree with the prosperity gospel. 

 According to, multi award-winning gospel recording artist Kirk Franklin is apologizing after upsetting some citizens of the Republic of Uganda by classifying them as "poor" in a tweet--one he says was intended to convey his disapproval of the kind of Westernized theology that heavily focuses on prosperity preaching.  

We sincerely hope Kirk Franklin is going to be an example to the other gospel artists who are allegedly being highly paid by some of these rich and famous preachers.

Gospel Music Legend, Dr. Bobby Jones Talks about abusive father

Dr. Bobby Jones, gospel music legend opens up on the following video about his late father.  He admits he hated his father at one time who abused his mother and siblings.  He allegedly says he made peace with his father before he died and forgave him.

According to, Dr. Jones show got its start from humble beginnings. His first venture on television in the late 1970s was a 30-minute program on a single station in Nashville, Tenn.

Dr. Jones truly has a testimony to help other people, God bless his courage.
