What Gospel Artist Sampled from Crystal Waters Music?

Originally posted on Oct 14, 2011

Some of you are wondering what is Bubblegum gospel? Well, we have to take the credit for that. We coined the term months ago because  there are too many so called 'gospel music artists' that are not really singing gospel but rather putting together lyrics, beats and playground games to make secular music. They just happened to stick a well known and once respected genre label on it.
So, can you guess who sampled the music from Crystal Water's...

What’s The Truth Behind Multi-ethnic Church Worship?

Multicultural worship, mulitracial worship, multiethnic worship

What’s The Truth Behind Multi-ethnic Church Worship?

There's a book out by Gerardo Marti’s Worship Across the Racial Divide: Religious Music and the Multiracial Congregation that has planned to shake how we feel about worship, (multicultural, that is) in today's modern society. Marti's book is a sociological exploration of worship music ministry in multiethnic churches, and as such, its timing is critically important. There’s, of course, no shortage of resources that point to multicultural worship music as a panacea to cure what ails struggling churches, something that will help to usher in a glorious new dawn of cross-racial unity. What sets this work apart is its approach, says report.

Here's a description of the book and what we should expect to learn from it:
Worship Across the Racial Divide aims to be more descriptive than prescriptive. Through thousands of interviews of pastors, worship leaders, and congregants from a variety of multiethnic churches across the diverse state of California, Marti, a sociology professor at Davidson College, uncovers a series of principles and patterns gleaned from actual multicultural worship ministries. Rather than speculate on what should be, the book tells us a lot about what is.

We want to thank our friends at Joy105.com for providing this information from the desk of first time blogger, President and COO of Stellar Awards, Erma Gray Davis. Ms. Erma Gray Davis speaks:

I was thinking about how blessed we are to have the Stellar Awards for 28 years. I can’t believe it has been 28 years. Miami Rapper “Bizzle” Shot Dead In Liberty City is not Christian rapper 'Bizzle', but it's time for Christian Rappers to be holy

We think a lot of news reporters got the music artists confused, the miami rapper that died who called himself, 'Bizzle' is not the Christian rapper.  This rapper, Robert Labranche, 37, of Miami is also known as 'Chowtime' and also 'Recession Proof' as what it revealed on his Myspace page. The Christian rapper who a lot of people think got shot and killed is a totally different person on this following You Tube video.  See for yourself.   However, this is why we are encouraging all of you gospel artists whom are promoting christian rap and hip-hop to stop identifying with worldly artists, because as you can see, most of them do not live long.

Watch Christian Rapper, 'Bizzle', totally different person

You know, on one of this christian rapper's videos description, there is information that he is not the one who died.  However, God has a way of giving these Christian rappers forewarning.   If they would be different and holy, then they would not be confused with someone of the world.   In I Peter 1:16, he Bible clearly says, 'Be ye holy, for I am holy.'   The way these worldly rappers and hip hop artists are dying, why would these gospel artists want to be like them?   Why would they want to dress like them or even perform like them?   The way many of them die is a disgrace, God's Kingdom does not identify with that sort of mess.  Therefore, we are calling all of you gospel artists whom have made money as though you are gospel or christian music artists, but allegedly appear similar to Satan's children to repent.   'Repent,' saith the Lord before you begin dying like these worldly artists.   God does not want his music nor those within ministry to identify with the secular music industry, because holiness does not lead to death.  Get right, before each and every last one of you start dropping off.   Celebrity preachers are not going to tell you the truth, because many of them are also allegedly making money from your concerts, sometimes performed at there churches.   We know you are in a billion dollar industry, according to Pastor Shirley Caeser, allegedly, but if you don't get right with God and start being holy in your music and attire, you may die like secular music artists because many of you identify with how they dress and perform.

This christian rapper 'Bizzle' has the audacity to rap against Jay-z, Kanye West and Rick Ross, but he is no different than they are.   He has to be different first, before he can preach to anybody.  What do we mean by being different?  It's being holy and sanctified, not looking and acting like the world. In I John 2:15, God forewarned us not to be like the world, ' Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.'    The average celebrity preacher won't tell you the truth, because they love the money that comes from collaborating with you, but the Bible already forewarned us to be different.   There is no such a thing as gospel rap, christian rap, hip-hop gospel or holy hip hop, you cannot take the Devil's music and turn it around as though it's holy.  God does not need any help from secular style of music in reaching the world.  He wants all of his music holy and even in the way you gospel music artists dress and perform, he wants you holy and righteous.   'Change your wicked ways,' thus saith the Lord.   The scriptures about being holy are not read by the average celebrity preacher, but now that we have given you the scriptures, you have no excuse.  'Change,' thus saith the Lord, because when you act like the world and dress like the world, you are headed for the same type of destruction.

Gospel Music Artist Makoma makes us agree with Matthew Knowles: why use the label gospel, if the artists are unholy?

RGA readers, as you know several months ago when we did a previous article, we were very confused as to why Matthew Knowles would allegedly suggest to delete the name gospel from the gospel music industry.   We finally agree, simply because most gospel artists today not just in America, but all over the world seemed to have no respect for what gospel means.  We do not care what the average celebrity preachers say and that it is okay to wear anything while singing songs of Zion, it is wrong and against God's Word.

If God's music is going to be misrepresented by many of these gospel artists, then why not drop the label gospel?  All over the world, we no longer recognize many gospel artists as being anointed under the power of the Holy Ghost, but instead they are looking and performing like the world.  Saints of God, we are not supposed to have any likeness to the world as it says in I John 2:15, 'Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.'   Now, according to this following video, this Dutch artist, Makoma is allegedly dressed like a man, allegedly wearing a satanic cross on one of her following videos.  Since when is it ever okay for a gospel artist to wear a satanic cross while improperly representing themselves as God created them to be? According to this video, this gospel artist, Makoma is allegedly wearing a satanic cross.   It is never okay to perform as a gospel artist and wear Satan's cross.  Let us assure you, this is why we are seeing more globes in these international churches, because the cross of Jesus Christ is not acceptable among today's average Christian ministry elite and as we see, not even worn among some gospel artist like Makoma, allegedly.  Therefore, why carry the name gospel any longer.  If these gospel artists want to be unholy and worldly, then they should not identify as a gospel artist, but go out in the world and be real as secular music artists.   To carry the name and not live up to it, is being a hypocrite and hypocrites have no place in the Kingdom of God.  In Mark 7:6, the Word of God tell us: 'He answered and said unto them, Well has Isaiah prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.'

Here at RGA blog say, 'no more gospel music, unless only sanctified gospel artists can properly represent The Kingdom of God, wearing all of their clothes and making music straight from heaven, not similar to the children of the Devil.' We will say what we have told you so many times before at our sister blog, SCR, if you can't speak in tongues and feel the Holy Ghost while listening to the gospel music, then it is wrong to listen to.   Now, you watch this video and tell us, if you can feel the Holy Spirit and it moves you to speak in an unknown tongue?   It is impossible for these gospel artist to look like the world and perform like ungodly music artists and lead us into the anointing of the Holy Ghost.   We agree with Matthew Knowles who allegedly suggested that the name, 'gospel' be dropped, because most gospel artists seem to desire to be unholy in their dress and act holy in their performances, in America and all over the world.

According to this video, this gospel artist, Makoma is wearing a satanic cross.

Legendary Gospel Music Artist, Dr. Charles G Hayes and CCPC Comes out with New Gospel Album and Label

Dr. Charles Hayes is one of the fewest gospel music legends left who has blessed us with such great gospel music that really stirs the mind and soul.   Dr. Charles Hayes is doing it again with his upcoming gospel album, 'Back Again.' Dr. Hayes and the Cosmopolitan Church or Prayer Choir surprise us every time with such great songs and we are never disappointed after purchasing an album.

According to GospelFlava.com, Dr. Charles Hayes has also created a new record label, Cosmo Sounds.  Hopefully, under his new label, more real gospel artists will release some decent gospel music that will be sacred, not just in their music, but also performances.

Bubblegum Gospel Artist Deitrick Haddon Takes on Jay-Z/ Kanye West Song Remakes

We recently spoke about a video of Deitrick Haddon remaking Usher's song "Climax'. We were utterly disgusted with this move of trying to make secular music spiritual, yet lacking any real spirituality at all. Well, even though blogs expressed their disapproval of the song remade by Deitrick Haddon, nothing is stopping him from trying yet some other songs. This time he tackles Jay-Z and Kanye West's most recent releases: "Mercy" and "No Church in the Wild."

The King's Men, Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp and Israel: Are they salesmen or just reaching souls for Jesus Christ?

The King's Men, Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp and Israel: Are they salesmen or just reaching souls for Jesus Christ?

Now, we would like you to look at the title of this article, very close.  It allegedly seems like there are some well-known gospel artists starting groups these days, to allegedly earn extra money.   It is time for gospel artists to get together and create gospel music, only to reach souls for Jesus Christ.   We are not just talking about going out claiming to be a gospel artist while singing about Jesus, but spreading the Word of holiness and righteousness at these gospel concerts.  Many souls who love gospel music are yet lost, simply because they idolize the gospel artists while not living holy.  Then, if they are among carnal believers at these gospel concerts, many of them may not be living holy in their personal lives.

RGA readers, there is no since for these gospel artists getting together for these performances, if they are making money while we see no difference within much of the gospel music industry.  God is looking for them to be totally different from the world, not identical to secular music artists.   According to Philly.com, Pastor McClurkin shouted out, "We got some dancing Christians tonight," he yelled before "Again." "Dance like it's just you and Jesus."  What type of dancing is he talking about? If it is not the Holy Ghost moving people to dance in the Spirit, it is absolutely wrong, because you can't dance just like it's you and Jesus, if there is no anointing flowing through the atmosphere.  The article at Philly.com also mentioned 'Franklin's chords sounded like a '90s mix of Teddy Riley and Michael Jackson.'  Tell us, can you speak in tongues off that type of music? If gospel music continues to be made from the similarities of secular music artists, there is not going to be any true deliverance of those whom listen to it, simply because holiness does not mix with the world and holiness is not carnality.
2 Cor. 6:14 says, Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what partnership has light with darkness?'  That scripture is not just speaking of friendships and relationships, it is also speaking of in anything else we do in business.  No, we were not there, but we can imagine the groove set as what the article allegedly mentioned did not cause people to speak in tongues and move them up into a higher level of the anointing of God.  Ask yourself, do fans of Kirk Franklin feel the Holy Spirit or even speak in tongues when they attend his concerts?  When they watch him perform on 'This is It', will they dance in the Spirit or dance like the world? Back in the early years of gospel music, gospel artists never had to tell their supporters to dance, because the Holy Ghost was flowing so much, they could not help to get up and cut a step-in the Spirit, not in a secular fashion.  Most gospel artists of today have joined the trend of creating European type of music, so mainstream, they seem as though they do not stress the importance of the Holy Ghost being in the midst.   No wonder some of these pastors are getting caught in adultery and committing sexual acts with kids, because they are either not preaching the truth to these gospel artists or they are being silent in their pulpits while supporting them by allowing them to perform at their churches.  What's even worse, some of these gospel artists are pastors themselves.   As a pastor if you are not preaching for gospel artists to be holy, any demon could over take them and caused lust to control their minds to wander in places they have no business while looking at all the thuggish guys, women and young girls wearing their short skirts, skin tight and pants and low cut tops dancing to their secular blend gospel songs.

The Kings Men, is that name something to be proud of, when you look at all four of them?   Is this what we are left with today, in the 21st century, gospel artists whom carry the name gospel while allegedly creating music to make a lot of money like secular music artists?    The absence of the Holy Spirit moving how He wants to move at these gospel concerts is not how it should be.  Most importantly, they are supposed to be completely holy in their music and performances without the combination of using music from the secular industry.

'Because it is written, You will be holy; for I am holy (I Peter 1:16).'

Gospel tour's soul-baring and vocal passions

God's work, it seems, is never done. That's why, rather than resting on the seventh day, he called upon Live Nation to put together a gospel music tour, "The King's Men," and unite the top-selling salesman of the Word.

On Sunday, four formidable headliners - Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin, and Israel Houghton - laid bare their souls and their most impassioned voices...Read full article, here.

Gospel Music Artist, VaShawn Mitchell comes out with his new hit album, 'Created 4 This'

Gospel Music Artist, VaShawn Mitchell comes out with his new hit album, 'Created 4 This,' hopefully, there is some anointing on this CD.   Many gospel artists these days are making hits, simply because there music identifies with the mainstream sector and when it comes to black gospel artists, some of their music lacks authenticity.  For most of them, just as long as they make the big bucks, it does not bother them that their music does not satisfies God.

Previously, we heard just a few of his songs and they are very nice and soothing type of songs, you know, Praise and Worship, sort of European style, but lets listen to this new one and see if it takes us in a realm of real church music.

As far as the DVD, we assume it will be alright, as long as no one is shaking their butts and jiggling their bosoms to God's music, you know the hip hop thing.

Gospel Music Artist, Michael Winans Pleads Guilty To Church Ponzi Scheme!

Gospel music artist, Michael Winans has pleaded guilty to church ponzi scheme and as some would say, it's the right thing to do.   RGA readers, we have been following this case for quite a while and it is very sad, allegedly he and his father were both caught in this scheme.   However, this teaches the rest within the gospel music industry a very valuable lesson, which is, if you can't do business in an honest fashion, don't do it at all. Allegedly, the gospel music industry has already been brought low by their blend of secular style songs and performances, it does not help by getting caught up in crime.

Therefore, it is time each and every gospel artist get make sure they are right with God before Satan misleads them to become involved with illegal dealings.   Because of all the carnality in much of their gospel music, no wonder some of them are getting into trouble with the law just like many of these crooked celebrities preachers whom are preaching for fame and fortune.   God is clearly saying, 'if you cannot save souls for me and be holy, the Devil can get you to do whatever he wants,' the sad part, they made the choice.   In Matthew 6:24, 'No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.'

In the meantime, we are not only praying for Michael Winans, but the entire family.

Deitrick Haddon Remakes Usher's 'Climax Song'?

Now, this is why we don't support the gospel music industry today. We have newly announced divorced Deitrick Haddon coming out with a song that should remake or reform Usher's  'Climax' song.

Here's are some of the lyrics he's using in his version:

'Going nowhere fast, we've reached the climax... We're together Lord we are one...In your presence refuse to run...Away from this holy place...Lord  in your presence there is so much love...Won't go back its too late to reach the climax...'
